3. Private & Group Coaching Sessions

3.1 Booking & Payment

Private and group coaching sessions must be booked through the BATZ Club scheduling system or approved booking platform. Payment must be made at the time of booking or covered by an active coaching package.

3.2 Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

- Late Cancellations: If a private or group session is cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled start time, the full cost of the session will be forfeited.

- Standard Rescheduling: Sessions cancelled or rescheduled more than 24 hours prior to the start time may be moved to another available slot without penalty.

- No-Shows: Failure to attend a booked private or group session without notice will be treated as a late cancellation, and the full session cost will be charged.

3.3 Coach Availability

If a designated coach becomes unavailable due to illness, injury, or unforeseen circumstances, BATZ Club will arrange a qualified replacement coach or reschedule the session.

3.4 Wet Weather & Makeup Sessions

Sessions will proceed outdoors where safe. If weather conditions make training unsafe and an alternative indoor facility is not available, the session will be postponed and rescheduled. Group coaching packages are priced based on a set number of sessions over a term. Makeup sessions are not automatically guaranteed for individual student absences (such as illness, school commitments, or holidays) unless explicitly offered by BATZ Club management.

3.5 Coaching Packages & Expiry

Coaching packages vary by duration (starting from 3-month options and upwards) and are non-refundable. Packages must be utilized within their specified validity period from the date of purchase, after which any unused sessions will expire.

3.6 Session Start and Finish Times

Late arrival by a participant will not extend the session beyond the scheduled finish time if doing so impacts subsequent bookings or coach schedules.

3.7 Parent & Guardian Responsibility

Parents or guardians are solely responsible for participants before and after scheduled coaching sessions. BATZ Club supervision applies strictly during the designated session times.

3.8 Player Conduct

Participants must follow coach instructions and maintain a safe, respectful environment. BATZ Club reserves the right to terminate a session early if behavior is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate, with no refund or credit issued.

4. Equipment and Protective Gear Policy

Cricket is a dynamic sport involving hard balls and fast equipment.

- Participants attending hard-ball coaching sessions, net sessions, or camps are strictly required to wear appropriate, regulation protective equipment (including a British Standard-approved helmet, batting pads, thigh guards, and a box/abdo guard).

- BATZ Club coaches reserve the right to prohibit a participant from taking part in hard-ball drills if correct protective gear is not worn. BATZ Club accepts no liability for injuries sustained due to ill-fitting, damaged, or inadequate personal equipment.

5. Safety, Risk & Liability

5.1 Acknowledgement of Risk

Cricket is a physical sport that carries inherent risks, including accidental physical contact, impact from cricket balls, and standard sporting injuries. By registering, parents/guardians acknowledge and accept these risks.

5.2 Injury & Insurance

BATZ Club maintains appropriate public liability and accident insurance. However:

- Parents/guardians accept that injuries can occur despite best practices and supervision.

- BATZ Club is not liable for injuries resulting from normal sporting activity, failure to follow coaching instructions, or behavior outside of direct coach supervision.

5.3 Supervision, Venue Transit & Drop-Off

- Parents or authorized guardians must drop off participants directly at the designated training area and ensure a coach is present before leaving. Prompt collection is required immediately at the conclusion of the session.

-  All participants must follow coach directions regarding equipment usage and safe movement between venues (e.g., car parks, clubrooms, and training pitches). BATZ Club reserves the right to remove any participant acting in a way that endangers themselves or others.

6. Behaviour Expectations & Spectator Code of Conduct

BATZ Club is committed to providing a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for all players, coaches, and families.

6.1 Participant Conduct

Participants are expected to show respect to coaches, staff, and peers, display good sportsmanship, and participate with a positive attitude.

Bullying, harassment, discrimination, or intentional unsafe behavior will not be tolerated. If a participant engages in misconduct:

- Parents/guardians will be contacted immediately.

- The participant may be removed from the session or camp for the remainder of the day (or longer).

- No refund or credit will be issued in cases of behavioral dismissal.

6.3 Parent and Spectator Conduct

BATZ Club promotes a respectful sporting culture for families as well. Spectators and parents must remain outside the immediate playing or training grid unless invited by a coach. Sideline coaching, abuse towards coaches, umpires, or opposing players, or unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated and may result in the suspension or termination of the participant's enrollment without refund.

7. Wet Weather Policy

BATZ Club programs aim to proceed wherever possible. In the event of inclement weather, activities may be modified, moved undercover, or transitioned to theoretical/indoor drills where facilities permit. Cancellations occur only under extreme or unsafe weather conditions, with credits issued as outlined in Section 2.1.
